December 13th. It had been grey and dreich* but as I was heading home I noticed that the fog, mist and clouds were clearing, so grabbed the camera and a tripod and watched nature do its best to dress up the normal view of Stirling Castle with a foggy flourish.
The images caught the eye of many on social media and other places, with it appearing on a number of news sites and in across the national press. It's now licensed through an independent press agency as I couldn't keep up with all the request to use them on various platforms.
It's also been shortlisted in their 'Best of 2022' images on their website and that's currently open for voting:
So, overall, very pleased with this one - a favourite of 2022 for sure.
