Always enjoy the challenge of a moon shot. Full moons, when the Scottish weather and clouds allow, especially. Augusts' (The Sturgeon moon) occurs on the 26th Aug, but the 99.6% version above was as near as we were going to get as that happens when it's 45˚ below the horizon for us. And it's cloudy pissin' rain too.
Best when the moon rises just after sunset (like this month's), so it's not too dark and you can expose for some of the landscape as well as hold some detail in the super-bright moon. With a few bracketed shots edited and combined it can produce some nice looking photos. Never be tempted to scale that moon up though; see far too many out there where the moon's been scaled 120%... 150%... 200% and it looks like someone's stuck a big 'effin moon sticker on the screen. Each to their own though...
