Seemed like a good idea at the time for a walk through the pylon forest and around the Black Devon Wetlands with the dogs. The weather had other ideas though.
Still, a couple of years ago, this would've been even less possible - the work put in here by RSPB Scotland and others to provide access throughout the wetlands means even with the worst the winter can throw weather-wise it's still a worthwhile walk if you stick to the new paths and walkways. And, on days like this, you have the whole place to yourself (except for the one single solitary Buzzard we spotted).
Flat skies, icy drizzle and dreich. Definitely a mono type day. All shot wide angle and cropped half-and-half because you're not meant to.
