iBri Daily-ish

So, the daily post thing's now pie in the sky. Posts will arrive here as and when. Daily-ish. Weekly-ish. Random-ish.

He was waiting on the bus. He was told it might be was three hours until it arrived. He didn't wait.

Day Six. 6.2miles
Soundtrack: Shooglenifty - The Untied Knot - Murmichan

It's been a lazy-arsed-ish kind of a day, with lots of staring out of windows watching the weather go from one extreme to another.

We did venture out to visit the Blue Shed Cafe over the hill in Torrin though. Zero point nine miles it said. One point 7 it was. Wouldn't have been a problem, but the Mrs and the Wee Man slogged it in through a couple wintery downpours, that somehow caused them to take a wrong turn (on a straight single track road) and add even more to that. The soup and toasties at the cafe made up for that though.

I headed out on the bike to meet them, adding a few extra miles for #30DaysOfBiking. Not many though. Sleet and hail and an Arctic breeze put a stop to anything too adventurous. Still, cycling was done.

Sun Room. Eternal optimists we are. It was sunny for a while, then it wasn't. Then it was again, then... you get the picture.
