iBri Daily-ish

So, the daily post thing's now pie in the sky. Posts will arrive here as and when. Daily-ish. Weekly-ish. Random-ish.

It's getting near that time of year again. Longer, crisper, clearer nights, with more time to hang around watching the sky spin, even on a school night.

This stack is from this time last year, at the peak of the Perseid Meteor Storm. Didn't manage to catch many meteors (just the one to the left of this shot) but this spot has a nice alignment of the single track road pointing to Dumyat which in turn has Polaris anchoring the spinning galaxy of stars directly above its summit.
