Sat here for over an hour, sheltered from the rain bouncing off the water, trying to get my head around things. The things were too big to get around, but the view and the peace and the quiet and the churn of the pedals either side were good.
The two hairdressers in the barber shop earlier on had told me I shouldn't be so pessimistic, that the possible financial collapse and recession would be worth it for the fact that our jobs would be safe from all those foreigners. We should have a hairdresser for next PM. The current front-runner could certainly do with one.
