iBri Daily-ish

So, the daily post thing's now pie in the sky. Posts will arrive here as and when. Daily-ish. Weekly-ish. Random-ish.

This view might appear a few more times before the thirty days are up.

Day Two. 11.3 miles
Soundtrack: Mogwai - Atomic

Took the scenic route to the big dodgy bike shop for some biking bits-n-pieces. The Devon and Forth were like glass as I headed along the newly ashed path from Cambus, passing through the Diageo warehouses at Blackgrange, and back on to the main cycle route into Stirling. Met a few cyclists on the way, all trying to get out and make the most of it before the rain started again late in the afternoon.

The new path's great - where there's a path - and most bikes will be able to negotiate it easily enough, but it stops abruptly and leaves a bit of a rough off-road section that, especially today, felt more like a canoe would've been a better option. I can live with that.

30 Days of Biking - Day 2. New section of path (NCN76) from Cambus to Blackgrange.

On this day last year...

April 2nd 2015 - Freshly manured fields - burning my nostrils it was.
